IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
A driver or Windows tried to use memory it was not allowed to. It is usually a faulty driver, sometimes bad RAM.
How to fix it
- Think about what changed: a new driver, device or update. Undo it first.
- Update chipset, graphics, network and storage drivers from the PC maker's site.
- Test the memory: search for Windows Memory Diagnostic and run it, or use MemTest86 from a USB stick.
- Turn off any overclock or XMP memory profile in the BIOS to test.
Is it serious?
A driver update fixes most cases. If memory tests show errors, replace the RAM stick.
