MEMORY_MANAGEMENT

Windows found a serious error in how memory is used. Faulty RAM is a common cause, along with drivers.

How to fix it

  1. Run Windows Memory Diagnostic, or better, MemTest86 from a USB stick for at least one full pass.
  2. If you have two RAM sticks, test with one at a time.
  3. Turn off XMP or overclocking in the BIOS.
  4. Open Command Prompt as administrator (search "cmd", right-click, Run as administrator).
  5. Run: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and wait for it to finish (it can sit at 20% for a while).
  6. Then run: sfc /scannow
  7. Restart the PC.

Is it serious?

If the memory test finds errors, replace the stick. RAM is cheap and easy to swap.
