Windows could not read data from the drive into memory. A failing drive, loose cable or bad RAM are typical.

How to fix it

1. Back up important files first.
2. Check drive health with CrystalDiskInfo or the maker's tool.
3. On desktops, reseat or replace the SATA cable.
4. Run chkdsk C: /f and a memory test.

Is it serious?

Take this one seriously: it is often an early sign of a dying drive.
